double exposure

Born out of the joy of creative play, this photographic journey explores how two photographers – Cindy Waszak Geary and myself – working together can create images that are more than the sum of their parts. In this collaboration each photographer surrenders some control and trusts in the other’s eye. The third party in this creative triangle is chance. Double exposures allow chance to play a greater role in the image and its impact on the viewer. The resulting dreamscapes, sometimes taken across the ocean and across time and sometimes taken together in the same time and place, can create mysterious, surprising and intriguing new meanings.
