being in time for the time being
Does time flow continuously, or is it a string of moments like beads on a necklace? Exploring moments in my life, Being in time for the time being brings together past and present, there and here, to reflect on this question.
By superimposing and juxtaposing images, I have brought my disparate past selves in distant places into the landscape of my present life. Conjuring this new world, where the spirit of my former selves inhabits a new time and place, has brought my life in and out of focus, as well as challenged the meanings of memory, time, identity and aging.
